Job summary

Beyond is establishing a Bahrain AOC under the oversight of the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs. We seek a nominated postholder flight operations in Manama to lead the development, certification and oversight of the flight operations function for our Bahrain AOC.

You will ensure safe and compliant flight operations, define standards and procedures, oversee the flight operations budget and crew scheduling, and liaise with ground operations on new airports while driving safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Hold a valid flight crew licence (ATPL/CPL) with ratings appropriate to the operation conducted under the AOC.
• At least 5 years' relevant work experience, including 2+ years in aeronautical industry in a suitable role.
• Practical experience applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
• Thorough knowledge of Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements, operations manual structure and flight-time-limitation schemes.
• Must be acceptable to BCAA after formal assessment.
• Current or recent command on Airbus A320/A321 family.
• Prior experience as a nominated postholder / new-AOC stand-up.
• ICAO English Level 4 or above where operational.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations in compliance with Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements.
• Define flight operations standards, practices and safety policy and implement SOPs.
• Define the flight operations budget and oversee crew scheduling and operations control.
• Assess route and aerodrome selection and liaise with ground operations on new airports.
• Issue or delegate operations manual parts and implement new regulatory requirements.
• Lead crew resource management and implement the department SMS under the safety manager.
