Job summary

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking an Accommodation Handyman - Technician to maintain Heartist accommodation to the highest standards within a luxury hotel environment. Join a team dedicated to exceptional guest experiences and proactive upkeep.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across AC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, with independent work habits and basic English. You will contribute to a well-maintained, welcoming property for discerning guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in hotels, staff accommodation or residential facilities.
• Good working knowledge of air conditioning (AC) systems, electrical works, and plumbing.
• Experience in general handyman tasks such as carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests effectively.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in Heartist accommodation.
• Perform repairs related to air conditioning (AC), electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Inspect accommodation facilities regularly to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults efficiently while ensuring minimal disruption.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate maintenance records.
