Job summary

Four Seasons Bahrain Bay is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join our Engineering team. You will maintain and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and high performance across the hotel.

The role requires a technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration, at least 2 years of hotel or hospitality equipment experience, and strong troubleshooting skills along with good English communication.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, steamers, washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment deficiencies.
• Ensure all work is in compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.
• Support the Engineering team with general maintenance tasks as needed.

About The Role

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring uninterrupted service and the highest levels of safety and performance throughout the hotel.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
