Kuehne+Nagel invites you to join a one-year Young Potential program in an international logistics setting in Tessenderlo, Belgium. You will gain hands-on exposure to warehouse operations and progress toward foreman responsibilities, leading a team and solving daily challenges.

You will also participate in LEAN Six Sigma and Project Management trainings, supported by a buddy and mentor to guide your development and career growth.

As a Young Potential within Contract Logistics, you will begin an inspiring journey of one year. During this year, we will provide you with comprehensive exposure to all aspects of warehouse operations. Beyond learning the fundamentals, you will progressively develop into a foreman role, where you will lead a team and gain hands‑on experience in managing day‑to‑day operational challenges. After you have fully mastered the responsibilities of a foreman, we will provide you with comprehensive training in all aspects of the supervisor role, preparing you to take on broader operational and leadership responsibilities.

In addition you will also work on your personal development. You will follow training in LEAN Six Sigma and Project Management, helping you elevate your skills to the next level. You are in control of your own development, supported closely by a team of experts: your personal buddy and mentor, who are there to guide you.

What we would like you to bring

• A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, SME management, Management or a related field — but other backgrounds are welcome as long as you have a strong interest in the dynamic world of logistics.
• A maximum of 1 year of work experience.
• As an international company, we expect you to speak and write fluent English. On the work floor, Dutch is mainly spoken, so it is essential that you have a good command of Dutch as well.
• Curious and entrepreneurial — if you see something that can be improved or done differently, we want to hear it.
• Additional experience such as an international internship, a board year, and/or volunteer work is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
