It's more than a job Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world’s leading logistics providers. Within our Contract Logistics division, we are looking for a Customer Onboarding Project Manager who will lead the implementation of new and existing customer projects across our sites.

In this role, you will manage end-to-end onboarding projects in a complex logistics environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers. You will ensure that projects are delivered according to the corporate project methodology – on time, within budget, and in line with operational and customer requirements. Typically you will manage 1–2 projects simultaneously, ranging from 6 months up to 2 years, and remain involved until shortly after go-live to ensure a smooth transition into operations.

How you create impact

• Manage end-to-end onboarding projects in existing and new logistics facilities
• Create, manage, and monitor detailed project plans, including dependencies and critical paths
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (operations, HR, IT, facility, customer service)
• Act as the main point of contact for customers during the implementation phase
• Manage project risks, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
• Facilitate project governance, including gate reviews and stakeholder alignment
• Support tender processes by contributing to implementation cost calculations
• Ensure compliance with global project management standard and processes

What we would like you to bring

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and/or project management roles
• Proven experience managing or supporting complex projects in a logistics or operational environment
• Strong stakeholder management and decision-making skills
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
• Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and preferably experience in using project management systems (Monday.com, Asana, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Excellent presentation skills
