Job summary

Vattenfall is looking for a Working Student in our Business Control team focusing on Solar & Batteries. You will support financial processes for renewable energy projects and gain hands-on experience in finance within a purpose-driven company.

Based in Germany, you will assist with invoicing, monthly closings, and reporting, while collaborating with the Controlling Management Team. Fluency in English and German plus strong Excel skills are expected; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Master’s student (at the beginning of the program).
Living in Hamburg or Berlin.
Solid Excel skills; first experience with SAP is a plus.
Communicate well in English (written and spoken at least C1) and German language skills (A2–B1) is a plus.
Open-minded, collaborative, and eager to learn in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Support controlling team in managing financial processes for renewable energy projects.
Contribute to monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
Assist with procurement processes, including invoice workflows.
Assist billing and payment processes, including manual transactions.
Work closely with the Controlling Management Team and support ongoing projects.
