Ghent University seeks a Project Coordinator for the Horizon WoodStock project (50% FTE) on a contract of limited duration from 1 December 2026 to 31 October 2028. The role involves coordinating work packages, ensuring milestones are met, and liaising with the European Commission and partners across eight EU countries.

The successful candidate holds a thesis-based doctorate in wood science or circular design of wood and bio-based materials, demonstrates strong project management, and

Formación

• Thesis-based doctorate in wood science or circular design of wood.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with European projects and research collaborations.
• Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate work package activities and WP meetings.
• Meet milestones and deadlines for deliverables.
• Monitor research, networking and dissemination activities.
• Prepare interim and technical reports to the EC portal.
• Provide logistical support for meetings and events in Belgium.
• Manage WoodStock grants evaluation and day-to-day follow-up.
