Job summary

ConSol Partners in Belgium seeks an experienced project manager to lead cloud, HPC and infrastructure modernization initiatives. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, define scope, budgets and acceptance criteria, and manage risks across research and ICT stakeholders. Fluency in English and strong Dutch skills are required, with 8+ years in complex technology projects.

The role is a 1‑year contract with 40 hours/week, with potential extensions based on performance and project continuity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing complex cloud, infrastructure, platform, datacenter or HPC-related projects – mandatory (8+ years)
• Strong planning, organization, coordination and risk-management skills, with a pragmatic and outcome-oriented mindset.
• Ability to translate between business or research needs and technical, security and operational realities.
• Understanding of cloud, HPC, infrastructure and secure environments to coordinate specialists, challenge plans and identify delivery risks.
• Experience with cloud adoption, platform modernization, compute-intensive or highly secure environments is an advantage (8+ years)
• Fluency in English is mandatory and a good level in Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the integrated project plan, including scope, deliverables, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, quality and acceptance criteria
• Lead projects involving cloud services, HPC platforms, secure compute environments, infrastructure modernization, integrations and migration.
• Act as the central coordination point for business and research stakeholders, ICT teams, architects, security, procurement, operational teams and external partners.
• Coordinate agreement on service ownership, support responsibilities and the operational model.
