Job summary

Sabena Engineering is seeking a logistics/warehouse associate to receive, dispatch and manage spare parts and materials. You will supply technicians with the right tools, inspect returns, and maintain accurate stock records. The role involves inventory checks, labeling, and transporting parts to outstations as needed.

Fluency in Dutch or French with good English is required, plus a valid Category B driver’s license and forklift training or experience. A proactive, flexible attitude is essential.

Qualifications

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Receive and dispatch goods such as spare parts, components, ingredients, and other materials.
• Provide technicians with the necessary tools and ensure they are issued in good condition.
• Inspect returned tools to verify they are still in proper working order.
• Prepare picking lists for spare parts and deliver them to the production department on time.
• Monitor expiration dates of perishable products and remove any expired items from the warehouse.
• Participate in regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain daily records of stock movements, including incoming and outgoing items.
• Perform regular inventory controls
• Transport parts to different outstations in case of urgent need
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labelling and keeping materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory

Your Profile :

• A first experience in a logistic or warehouse environment is a plus
• Flexible, motivated, and willing to take initiative
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Strong interest in technical environments; basic tool knowledge is a plus
• Valid Category B driver’s license is mandatory
• Willing and able to obtain a tarmac driving permit
• Willing to follow internal forklift training or already experienced as a forklift/clark operator
• Fluent in Dutch OR French , with a good level of English
