Job summary

Sabena Engineering is seeking a logistics/warehouse professional in Vilvoorde, Belgium. You will receive and dispatch spare parts and materials, supply tools to technicians, and maintain accurate stock records in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Fluency in Dutch or French and good English are required, with a valid B driver’s license and willingness to obtain a tarmac permit. Prior forklift experience is a plus and training is available.

Qualifications

• First experience in a logistic or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good level of English.
• Flexible, motivated, and willing to take initiative.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Basic tool knowledge is a plus.
• Valid Category B driver’s license is mandatory.
• Willing and able to obtain a tarmac driving permit.
• Willing to follow internal forklift training or already experienced as a forklift/clark operator.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch goods such as spare parts, components, ingredients, and other materials.
• Provide technicians with the necessary tools and ensure they are issued in good condition.
• Inspect returned tools to verify they are still in proper working order.
• Prepare picking lists for spare parts and deliver them to the production department on time.
• Monitor expiration dates of perishable products and remove any expired items from the warehouse.
• Participate in regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain daily records of stock movements, including incoming and outgoing items.
• Perform regular inventory controls
• Transport parts to different outstations in case of urgent need
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labelling and keeping materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory

• Valid Category B driver’s license is mandatory
• Willing and able to obtain a tarmac driving permit
• Willing to follow internal forklift training or already experienced as a forklift/clark operator
