Capitant is offering a Private Equity Internship in Brussels, where you will be part of the European investment team and engage in identifying prospective investments and developing investment recommendations.

This role requires a degree or studies in Finance, Business or Engineering along with strong analytical and communication skills. The internship lasts 3 months with a possible extension, based in Brussels with European scope.

Role of the Analyst Intern

The Analyst Intern will become an integral part of the European investment team. He / she will, amongst others, be responsible for:

• Identification and engagement of prospective investments through market deep dives
• Development of insightful investment recommendations to the senior team
• Support ongoing deal processes to ensure successful execution (e.g. Due Diligence, Valuation)

Profile of the candidate

• Degree or pursuing a Degree in Finance, Business or Engineering from a leading university or business school
• Previous internship experience is required
• International experience / mindset and passion for B2C Industries is required (ideally incl. Digital)
• Strong analytical skills: ability to analyse and model investment opportunities (Excel)
• Strong communication skills: ability to convince stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial self-starter, as well as constructive team-player
• Fluent in English and at least one other international language

Details of the internship

• Start date to be jointly agreed upon
• Brussels based, but working with a European scope
• 3 months initial period – possibility of an extra 3 months at discretion of Verlinvest & intern
• Visas / work permits will not be accommodated
