Job summary

A leading private equity firm based in the United States is seeking an intern to assist with investment evaluation and deal sourcing. Candidates should show a strong motivation for corporate finance and possess full proficiency in English, with fluency in Dutch and/or French being advantageous. The role includes analyzing potential investments, preparing relevant documentation, and working within a professional international team. This opportunity is set to last from February 2026 for 4 to 6 months.

Qualifications

Timing and location

• Period:4 to 6 months (preferably 6 months)
• Start date:February 2026

You will be given the opportunity to work alongside investment professionals on the appraisal of potential investment opportunities. Your efforts will mostly focus on the preparation of pro-active deal sourcing (mapping, screening, analysing different market segments). As an intern, you will:

• Analyse the strategy, markets, and competition of potential investment opportunities
• Evaluate the financial performance of investment opportunities
• Prepare presentations for internal and external use
• Prepare internal documents assessing the attractiveness of certain industries and companies

Skills and experience
