VC Stack is offering an Investment Internship based in Brussels or Luxembourg. This 5/6-month paid program immerses interns in the investment process from market analysis to deal structuring and post-investment monitoring.

Internship Overview – Brussel or Luxembourg based

The Investment Internship at Sofina is a 5/6‑month paid program designed to immerse you in the full spectrum of the investment process. You will become a vital member of our investment team, gaining hands‑on experience from initial sourcing and market analysis to due diligence, deal structuring, and post‑investment monitoring. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a strong foundation in private equity, benefit from direct mentorship by seasoned professionals, and expand your global network. In addition to our direct growth investment practice, we are investors in the best venture capital investors globally, so you would gain a privileged understanding of how the VC ecosystem works.

What You Will Do:

• Industry & Sector Analysis: Conduct in‑depth research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities.
• Market Screening: Proactively search for attractive targets that align with our investment criteria.
• Investment Review: Evaluate potential deals, supporting the team in rigorous opportunity assessment.
• Due Diligence Support: Assist in all stages of due diligence, ensuring thorough analysis and documentation.
• Investment Memo Preparation: Create compelling internal and external presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Help track and support our portfolio companies & VC funds.

Who you are:

• Have recently completed a Bachelor’s or completing their Master’s degree, ideally with prior exposure in dynamic environments such as strategy consulting, investment banking, VC, PE or a fast growing startup.
• Passionate about private equity, venture capital, or investing in general, with a solid grounding in finance and accounting theory.
• Possess strong analytical skills, coupled with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
• Are fluent in English and eager to learn from top industry professionals.

Practical Details & Benefits :

• Location: Brussels or Luxembourg.
• Duration: 6 months, with a flexible start date from June 2025 onwards.
• Compensation: Paid internship.
• Work Permit: Candidates must be eligible to work in either Brussels or Luxembourg.
