Edge Acoustics Ltd. is seeking a dedicated User support technician to join our on-site operations. You will assist users, resolve hardware and software issues, and help maintain business systems and networks.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, English proficiency, and a college/CEGEP level education. You will set up equipment, back up servers, and document problems and solutions for the team's knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in user support or helpdesk roles.
• College/CEGEP education required or equivalent.
• English language proficiency required for user communication.

Responsabilités

• Give access to computer networks and assist users with login issues.
• Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computers and software.
• Research solutions using guides and manuals to implement fixes.
• Provide advice and training to users on identified difficulties.

• Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Give access to computer networks
• Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer
• Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
• Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
• Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
• Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
• Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
• Provide problem-solving services to network users
• Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing
• Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
