Impact Jobs is seeking a Service Technician for full-time field service in Belgium. Under the supervision of the Operations Director, you will maintain compressors, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose equipment on site at customer locations.

You will travel to sites, inform customers of work, ensure parts and tools are available, perform oil changes and filter replacements, handle electrical diagnostics, and keep accurate work orders.

Qualifications

• DEP in industrial mechanics or electromechanics is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of the compressed air sector is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Determine and prepare the equipment needed to travel to customer sites.
• Inform customers of work being performed on equipment.
• Ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and compressors.
• Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace ball bearings.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and high-temperature oil leaks.
• Complete work orders for work performed on the computer.
• Ensure a rapid response to emergency calls at customer sites.
• Participate in maintaining company quality standards.
• Work with the team to ensure the exchange of information and knowledge.
• Collaborate and provide support to coworkers.
• Participate in weekly team meetings.
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Occasionally ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Maintain the company's rolling stock (trucks).
• Perform any other related tasks.

MAIN TASKS

Daily Duties

• Determine and prepare the equipment needed to travel to customer sites;

• Ensure that supplies are available to complete projects;
• Ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and compressors;
• Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace ball bearings;
• Perform electrical diagnostics and high-temperature oil leaks;
• Complete work orders for work performed on the computer;
• Ensure a rapid response to emergency calls at customer sites;
• Participate in maintaining company quality standards;
• Work with the team to ensure the exchange of information and knowledge;

REQUIREMENTS

• DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in industrial mechanics or electromechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the compressed air sector (a asset);
• Hold a valid driver's license;
• Functional bilingualism in French and English (reading technical documentation)
• Be independent and able to work without much supervision;
• Ability to manage priorities and ensure effective time management;

CONDITIONS

Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
