A Belgian financial services organisation is coordinating delivery for the MyConsumption tribe, which owns customer-facing web and mobile products for personal finance and payments. As a Tribe Scrum Master, you will align squads, business lines, internal teams and external partners, using Jira and Confluence across the end-to-end delivery workflow from ideation through deployment.

The mission

The MyConsumption tribe operates in Belgium within a highly regulated financial services sector. Its scope covers customer-facing web and mobile applications, delivered across multiple squads, business lines, internal IT teams and external partners. Planning is coordinated with the Delivery Manager and aligned with the IT Tribe Lead, Business Tribe Lead and Product Owners.

You will create a clear flow from business priorities to delivered software, helping the tribe communicate, coordinate and cooperate. You will support squad self-organisation and maintain visibility through agile reporting and follow-up tools. Your view will cover the end-to-end delivery workflow from ideation, exploration, refining, delivering, implementation and deployment, including dependencies between tribes.

Your responsibilities

• Orchestrate planning across squads, business lines and partners with the Delivery Manager, keeping delivery goals aligned.
• Facilitate communication and resolve stakeholder conflicts so decisions and dependencies do not stall delivery.
• Maintain reliable reporting and follow-up in Jira and Confluence for leadership and Product Owners.
• Guide work through ideation, exploration, refining, delivering, implementation and deployment, ensuring appropriate coordination at each stage.
• Identify current and future intertribe dependencies, making risks visible and coordinating escalation.
• Reinforce Scrum and Agile practices, squad self-organisation and continuous improvement across the tribe.

Your profile

Essential skills

• Bring at least 5 years of relevant experience as a senior Scrum Master in financial services, banking, personal finance or payments.
• Use Jira and Confluence for agile reporting, delivery follow-up, dependency tracking and stakeholder visibility.
• Guide teams through the end-to-end delivery workflow from ideation to deployment.
• Understand IT constraints and compliance in highly regulated environments, including GDPR, banking-specific regulations and security standards.
• Communicate clearly, manage complex stakeholder conflicts and maintain a broad view of intertribe dependencies.
• Influence teams and leaders to strengthen Scrum and Agile practices at tribe level and beyond.

Preferred skills

• Hold a Scrum Master certification such as PSM or CSM.
• Understand standard IT processes, including Change Management and Release Management.
• Bring hands-on experience in project delivery or product ownership within a regulated financial institution.
• Have experience leading a Scrum Master guild or coordinating Scrum Masters across teams.
