Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS is seeking a Field Service Engineer or Technician to install hardware for automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare facilities. The role offers growth opportunities within a leading medical device company.

The position requires traveling up to 100% locally to nationally, with 16-30 hours per week plus travel time. Training is provided and paid; candidates need CESS or Getuigschrift, plus English and Dutch/French as regional needs.

Qualifications

• CESS or Getuigschrift van Hoger Secundair Onderwijs is required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience.
• English and Dutch/French is required depending on regional need.
• Professional business acumen and communication skills required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to work with design engineers, project managers & healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.
• Position may require up-to-date immunizations.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; installing and configuring hardware, software and medical devices.
• Review of schematics / drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid.
