Job summary

Konvert Interim Leuven is seeking a Transport Officer to organize and control the transport of deliveries, ensuring high standards of transport quality.

You will coordinate pickups via the SAP transport module, liaise with forwarders and dealers, and optimize costs across shipments while maintaining clear documentation and timely communication.

Responsibilities

• Organizing the collection of the finished order via the SAP transport module or entering the shipments in the relevant transport software
• Communicating with the forwarder to have the collection take place on time and forwarding the necessary documents (pick-up lists, invoices, etc.) as agreed
• Communicating with the dealers to inform them of the delivery date provided and forward the transport documents needed.
• Alignment with various stakeholders in case of delivery issues and complaints
• Loading of pallets or cartons on trucks
• Acceptance of small shipments and organizing the internal transfer on site
• Administrative support to Logistics Transport Supervisor
• Optimizing efficiency and costs for all shipments done
