VeroTech BV is seeking an autonomous Design and Release Engineer for Transmission Controllers to join our team in Belgium. You will contribute to development, release and continuous improvement of an embedded Transmission Controller Unit across mechanical, software, electrical and manufacturing domains.

You will collaborate with engineering leads, suppliers and production teams, ensuring robust traceability and rigorous change management while supporting PPAP builds and field issue analysis.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in electronics or automotive engineering.
• 4–5 years of experience in design or related roles within automotive or power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with electronic systems and EMC knowledge.
• Clear technical note writing using Microsoft Office tools.
• Exposure to Polarion/DOORS, CANalyzer/CANoe, CANape, MATLAB/Simulink and Six Sigma methods.

Responsabilidades

• Support lab validation of controller integration within the transmission control system.
• Develop and maintain component requirements, specifications, DFMEA and system traceability.
• Coordinate component release activities through the change management system with global engineering counterparts.
• Support supplier management, APQP follow-up and production acceptance during PPAP builds.
• Analyze field returns, warranty cases and plant issues using CAN traces and structured problem-solving methods.
