Job summary

VeroTech BV hires a Transmission Controls Engineer to develop control software for hybrid dual-clutch transmission systems. You will work in a team of controls engineers using Model-Based Development and Simulink, from requirements to validation across MiL and HiL environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with systems engineering, validation, embedded software, testing and simulation, with a focus on functional safety and production-intended control strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of work experience, preferably in automotive context.
• Strong experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow and Embedded Coder.

Responsibilities

• Define software requirements for assigned functions in alignment with customer expectations.
• Design control strategies for transmission software modules.
• Implement control functions in Simulink within a Model-Based Development process.
• Verify software functions in a MiL simulation environment.
• Support validation activities on HiL platforms, test benches and vehicles.
• Contribute to driving strategy, actuation, diagnostics and functional safety; collaborate with internal teams.
