Job summary

Expleo Group in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, seeks an experienced electronics/automation engineer to join our automotive division. You will validate integration of controllers in Transmission Control Systems, support PPAP builds, and drive DFMEA and change management with global teams.

You have 4–5 years in automotive or power electronics, hands-on experience, and strong knowledge of EMC, CAN tools, and Matlab/Simulink. Flexible homeworking supports work-life balance within a diverse team.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in design or related roles in automotive or power electronics.
Hands-on experience with electronic systems, power electronics, or similar technologies.
EMC background in school and good MS Office skills with technical note redaction.
Excellent work ethic, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support validation of integration of Controller in Transmission Control System (Lab activities).
Support serial life and continuous improvement activities for existing embedded systems.
Develop component requirements and specifications.
Create and maintain DFMEA.
Support PPAP builds and plant acceptance activities.
Coordinate and contribute to problem-solving via 8D/Six Sigma workshops.
Coordinate system requirements and traceability (Polarian) and interface with global counterparts.
