Job summary

Expeditors in Machelen, Belgium seeks a Transcon (Roadfreight) agent to manage end-to-end freight processes, data entry, tracking, and customer coordination. The role emphasizes timely deliveries, compliance, and strong relationships with clients and partners.

Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years in logistics with road transport experience, fluent Dutch and English, and the eligibility to work in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards.
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance at all times.
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests.
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities of a Transcon (Roadfreight) agent

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years experience in logistics, preferable in road transport
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Eligible to work in Belgium
