EY-Parthenon in Brussels, Belgium, is seeking a junior consultant in Transactions and Corporate Finance to start in October 2027. You’ll work across due diligence, valuation, decision modeling and M&A, gaining exposure across sectors and international assignments.

Qualifications

• Master’s student or you have obtained a Master’s diploma, preferably with a background in Economics, Finance, Business Engineering or Commercial Sciences.
• You are a team player with a sense of responsibility.
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.
• You can think in solutions, can switch quickly and have an interest in transaction and corporate finance.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have an excellent written and spoken knowledge of English.
• You are a born team player, critical, curious and results-oriented.
• You are available starting from October 2027.

Responsabilités

• Conducting in-depth research on specific companies and sectors in Belgium and abroad.
• Preparation of prospection and contribution to pitches.
• Contribution to the preparation of information memoranda, teasers and other (marketing) materials.
• Assistance in live sell- and buy-side M&A processes.
• Supporting the client’s negotiating position and purchase price adjustments.
• Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses together with your project team.
• Analyzing key balance sheet components and valuation issues.
• Support to address core business decisions through smart and sustainable financial modelling, economics and any
• Providing input to purchase and debt agreements and other related documents.
• Analyzing working capital requirements and seasonality relative to proposed target levels.
• Assisting project teams to coordinate valuation engagements for the purpose of: management planning, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization and corporate strategy.
