EY-Parthenon Belgium is seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Finance & Strategy practice. You will engage in due diligence, valuation, M&A and strategy execution for financial services clients, collaborating with diverse teams across Transactions & Corporate Finance and Strategy & Execution.

You will contribute to client engagements in banking, insurance, and wealth & asset management, while developing your expertise in Belgian markets and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Economics or related field; Corporate Finance specialization is an asset.
• Fluency in French and business English; good knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.
• Strong team spirit balanced with autonomy.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, conceptual thinking and pragmatic approach.
• Solid communication and presentation skills.
• Keen interest in Belgian Financial Services and related markets.
• Available to start asap or in October 2027.

Responsabilités

• Help buyers or sellers manage the transaction process from deal sourcing through post-acquisition integration.
• Work on valuations or fairness opinions for transaction, statutory (IFRS/IAS), fiscal and strategic purposes.
• Develop and review financial models.
• Contribute to strategic engagements in the financial sector with qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Perform research and support development of viewpoints on the Belgian financial sector and its trends.
• Act as first-line contact for top-tier financial services clients and maintain client relationships.
