Questel seeks an Intellectual Property Consultant for its Belgium office (Ghent or Brussels) to focus on trademark law within a dynamic IP advisory team. You will manage client IP portfolios and advise on strategy, enforcement, and transactional aspects across related rights.

You will join a collaborative environment that values client relationships, proactive service, and continuous growth, with flexible hybrid work and opportunities to engage in international projects and events.

Qualifications

• Several years (ideally 3 to 5) of experience as a soft IP Legal Counsel.
• Strong grounding in trademark law and related IP matters (designs, domain names, copyright).
• Ability to advise clients and translate needs into practical, business-focused guidance.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients in all IP legal issues and manage their IP portfolios.
• Advise on IP strategy, conduct trademark searches, and define territorial and substantive scopes of protection.
• Handle dispute files, oppositions, and objections, and draft defense statements.
• Build trust with clients and develop business opportunities for the firm.
• Represent Novagraaf during IP conferences, webinars, publications, and client presentations.
