Job summary

ING Belgium is seeking an Analyst within Trade Sales in Brussels. You will support the structuring and execution of a broad range of Trade products, collaborating with Deal Principal and Trade Sales teams to ensure client satisfaction and scalable growth.

You will work across traditional trade instruments and open account financing, with exposure to cross‑functional teams and a focus on compliance and value delivery for wholesale banking clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in securitisation, structured finance, a Wholesale Banking product role, a Wholesale Banking sales position or in Risk Management.
• Strong interest in trade finance and open account trade.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
• Academic degree in economics, management, law, engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the Deal Principal in structuring and implementing Trade transactions, from traditional trade products to open account working capital products.
• Ensure smooth handover of implemented deals to the Trade Sales Account Management team for ongoing relationship management.
• Analyse client needs, identify opportunities and prepare proposals.
• Attend client meetings and pitches as the go-to contact during structuring.
• Coordinate with internal/external parties involved in transactions and maintain compliance.
