Job summary

Smarterminds is seeking a Tooling Developer to contribute to embedded tooling software for display driving boards. You will work with software architects and engineers to implement design details, develop unit and integration tests, and ensure alignment with project requirements.

As a software component owner, you will take ownership of your work, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate independently with architects and engineers at technical and conceptual levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Embedded C development.
• Experience with electronic designs and embedded hardware functionality.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Architect or similar modeling/design tools.
• Experience creating unit and integration tests for embedded software.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of software components.
• Europe-based and willing to relocate to Belgium.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Embedded C development
• Experience with electronic designs and embedded hardware functionality
• Proficiency with Enterprise Architect or similar modeling/design tools
• Experience creating unit and integration tests for embedded software
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of software components
• You must be based in Europe and willing to relocate to Belgium

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with multicore systems
• Familiarity with Easy Redmine, Tessy/Unity, Tortoise SVN/GIT
• Experience in automotive or high-tech embedded projects
