Job summary

Smarterminds is seeking a C# Software Engineer to develop tooling for embedded automotive applications. You will design, implement, and test C# tooling software based on defined requirements and architectures, collaborating with software architects and engineers to ensure high-quality, structured development.

Based in Europe and willing to relocate to Belgium, you bring 4+ years of C# experience, strong OOP, and experience with WinForms, threading, and unit testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with C# development.
• Experience with C# testability (unit testing/system testing).
• Experience with Windows Forms (Win Forms) implementation.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with threading and parallel tasks.
• Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools (e.g., Redmine, TortoiseSVN).

Requirements

Must-Have

• The ideal candidate must be based in Europe and willing to relocate to Belgium

• Experience with C# testability (unit testing/system testing)
