Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking a Test Rig Software & Integration Engineer to join its innovative R&D test center focused on automatic transmissions, hybrids and electric powertrains. You will develop and integrate software and hardware for advanced test rigs, improving automation and data quality across projects with LabVIEW, Simulink and Python.

Based in Belgium, you will collaborate with engineers to standardize test bench communications, drive efficiency with KPIs and deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with strong interest in mechatronic systems, preferably with a software focus.
• Proficiency in LabView/VeriStand (National Instruments).
• Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is an asset.
• Understanding of control theory is a plus.
• Experience with automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment, and electromechanics is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the software development (LabView/Simulink) for test rigs operating on National Instruments and dSpace hardware.
• Integrate new software and hardware into the existing test environment, ensuring smooth operations by analyzing product development requirements.
• Implement and enhance automation tools (Python/Canape) to increase testing robustness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering colleagues to advise, develop, and integrate software for test bench communication and automation (CAN‑network & Python).
• Develop tools, procedures, and documentation to standardize operations across all test rigs, using KPIs to improve efficiency and testing quality.
