Cream Consulting is seeking a Test Engineer to collaborate with analysts and developers on testing projects across frontend, backend, mobile, and web platforms. You will validate specifications, organize tests, and support deployment preparations in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The role requires a university IT degree, at least two years of software testing experience, strong testing tool knowledge, and fluent French and English (Dutch helpful).

Qualifications

• University degree in IT field (Civil Engineer, Master in Computer Sciences, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing
• Proven experience as a System Tester for IT projects
• Very good knowledge of testing tools and methodologies
• Experience with HP QC, HP ALM or QTP
• Knowledge of UML modelling and Use Cases writing
• Fluency in French and English; Dutch knowledge is a plus
• ISTQB certification is a real asset

WHAT IS A TEST ENGINEER AT CREAM ?

As Greg, Test Engineer at Cream, you will work in close collaboration with analysts and developers in order to run projects related to :

• Front end and back end application
• Mobile and tablet applications for the end user
• Websites and e-commerce solution
• Deployment of automated systems

YOUR TASKS :

• Validation and probation of the functional and technical specifications
• Organize and execute tests
• Follow-up internal development phases in collaboration with the project manager
• Test evaluation through the anomalies follow-up and test cover
• Provide support during the validation phase before deployment: users acceptance testing and functional testing

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM OUR CONSULTANTS ?

• You have a University Degree in the Information Technologies field (Civil Engineer, Master in Computer Sciences, or related fields) or the equivalent in years of experience
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing
• You have a proven experience in structured testing as a System Tester for IT projects
• Very good knowledge of testing tools and methodologies among others
• Experience with HP QC, HP ALM or QTP
• Knowledge of UML modelling and Use Cases writing
• You have the ability to communicate easily on technical subjects with developers
• You are fluent in French and English, a good knowledge of Dutch is also required
• Bonus : TFS and XMLA training or a certification in ISTQB would be a real asset
