Cloud Power Luxembourg SA in Brussels is seeking a Medior Test Automation Engineer to join an Agile team on a long-term project, contributing to software quality.

The ideal candidate has solid experience with Java and Playwright, can design, build and maintain automated tests, and contribute to test strategy and QA process improvements in a hybrid work setup. You will collaborate with developers, analysts and QA teams, perform API testing, and help advance test architecture and testing practices.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of test automation experience.
• Solid knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience building/maintaining Java-based test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of BDD/Gherkin, ideally with Cucumber.
• Experience with Selenium.

About the Role

We are looking for a Medior Test Automation Engineer to join an Agile team on a long-term project and actively contribute to improving software quality.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in test automation using Java and Playwright. They can design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks while contributing to the definition of the test strategy and the continuous improvement of QA processes.

We are looking for a proactive and autonomous professional with a strong technical background and a broader understanding of test automation and software quality.

Required Profile

Must-have Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience in building and/or maintaining Java-based test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of BDD/Gherkin, ideally using Cucumber.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Experience with XRAY.
• Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in REST API testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL.

Additional Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML and Angular.
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication, including APIs and events.
• Good knowledge of testing methodologies.
• ISTQB certification or an equivalent qualification is considered an asset.
