Job summary

SEIDOR in Brussels is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design, implement and monitor automated tests across web, API and backend systems. You will help embed automation within the CI/CD pipeline to ensure fast feedback on build quality.

You will build robust automation frameworks, transition the team from manual to automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital solutions in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in international organisations or central administrations.
• 3 years of experience in pharma/health/agrifood sectors.
• 3 years of experience in creating test automation solutions.
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and test data for web and API applications.
• 3 years of experience designing, maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks.
• 3 years of experience running automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• 3 years of experience monitoring test execution and analysing results.
• 3 years of experience using test automation technologies and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured etc).
• 5 years of experience in Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (such as JIRA).
• 3 years of experience producing structured technical documentation, reports, specifications and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, API and backend testing.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and fast feedback on build quality.
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
• Enable the transition from manual to automated testing within the team.
• Evaluate tools and technologies for automation within a DevSecOps approach.

Requirements

Specific Requirements:

• 3 years of experience working in international/intergovernmental organisations or
  central national administrations.
• 3 years of experience working in the pharma, health or agrifood sectors.
• 3 years of experience in the creation of test automation solutions.
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining maintenance of automated test scripts and test data management for web and API applications.
• 3 years of experience designing, maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks.
• 3 years of experience running automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• 3 years of experience monitoring test execution and analysing results.
• 3 years of experience using test automation technologies, frameworks (such as
  Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured or equivalent), and techniques for web, API or mobile testing.
• 5 years of experience in Test Management and Defect Tracking tools (such as JIRA or equivalent)
• 3 years of experience in producing structured technical documentation, reports,
  specifications and presentations

Certificates and/or standards:

One of the following or an equivalent certification:

• ISTQB Foundation Level Test Automation Engineer
• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer

Nice to have:

• 3 years of experience using version control systems (such Git, SVN or equivalent) and continuous integration toolchains (such Bamboo, Jenkins or equivalent).
• 3 years of experience executing regression, smoke, and functional test suites in CI/CD pipelines.
• 1 year of experience using automated test generation with the use of Generative AI.
• 3 years of experience of EU rules on data protection.
• 3 years of experience working with containerization technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent) for creating consistent test environments.
