Job summary

Relu in Leuven is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to build reliable automated tests across our web platform, APIs, 3D tools and AI pipelines. You will own shared test automation and tooling, collaborating with engineers and QA specialists on release checks and regressions.

You’ll automate critical user journeys, build API tests, and maintain fast, stable tests in CI; you’ll also create regression tests for recurring bugs and test AI pipelines with solid evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in test automation, QA or SDET roles.
• Experience automating UI and API tests with Playwright, Cypress or pytest.
• Clean, maintainable code in Python or TypeScript, bilingual capability preferred.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and fast, stable tests.
• Judgment on what to test and how to mock dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Automate critical user journeys in the Vue/TypeScript web platform.
• Build API and integration tests for Python/FastAPI services.
• Keep tests reliable in CI with clear reports and fast feedback.
• Turn recurring bugs into regression tests with developers.
• Test interactive 3D tools and model handling.
• Create regression tests for AI pipelines with meaningful criteria.
