Job summary

Relu is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to build reliable automated tests across our web platform, APIs, 3D tools, and AI pipelines. You will own our shared test automation, collaborating with engineers and dental experts to test the full workflow from user interactions to the quality of the generated dental designs.

You will automate critical user journeys, build API tests for Python/FastAPI services, and keep tests fast and stable in CI.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in test automation or SDET roles.
Hands-on experience automating UI and API tests using Playwright, Cypress or pytest.
Proficient in Python or TypeScript with willingness to work in both languages.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and keeping tests fast and stable.
Good judgment on test scope, data management, and mocks vs real dependencies.

Responsibilities

Automate critical user journeys in the Vue/TypeScript web platform, prioritizing high-impact workflows.
Build API and integration tests for Python/FastAPI services and their connections to databases, scanners, printers, and lab systems.
Maintain reliable test data, clear failure reports, fast feedback, and reduce flaky tests in CI.
Turn recurring bugs into regression tests and collaborate with developers to improve testability.
Test interactive 3D tools and AI pipelines with meaningful evaluation criteria.
