Relu, a Leuven-based AI scale-up, is building an web platform for dental automation. We’re seeking a Frontend Engineer to own features from design to production, collaborating with AI, sales and design teams.

Join a hybrid Belgium-based role with regular in-person presence at Leuven HQ, and work on scalable frontend and backend systems, 3D tools, and AI pipelines to improve dental care.

Competenze

• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.

AI Design Services for Dental Labs: From raw scans to production-ready models and appliances.

Relu is seeking a Full-stack Engineer to build and scale their AI-driven web platform for dental automation, developing frontend interfaces, backend services, and 3D tools while collaborating with AI, sales, and design teams. The role involves full ownership of features in a hybrid position based in Leuven, Belgium.

We’re a Leuven-based AI scale-up transforming the dental industry with automated design services. Today’s dental labs face a huge challenge: a shortage of skilled technicians and skyrocketing demand for dental care.

Our mission is to automate the repetitive and time-consuming parts of dental CAD design - so labs can work more efficiently, dentists can deliver care faster, and patients get the treatment they need without unnecessary costs or delays.

Our platform is already used by thousands of dental professionals worldwide and is growing rapidly.

What you’ll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Relu, you’ll help build the core platform that powers AI-driven dental automation:

• Build and scale our web platform used by thousands of users globally, and ensuring that it can handle the growing amount of users & orders.
• Digitize and automate the end-to-end workflow of a dental lab—from order intake, through digital design of dental appliances, to manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing) and delivery.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI pipelines, data processing, and application logic.
• Develop powerful 3D web tools and viewers, allowing our users to inspect and edit the AI proposals, ranging from CAD editing to end-to-end implant treatment planning.
• Think from the user’s perspective, to turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences. Design & implement slick user interfaces, with a focus on user-friendliness and efficiency
• Build clean, re-usable and testable software components.
• Collaborate with:
  • AI engineers to develop and release the latest & greatest features
  • Sales & support teams to ship what customers need
  • Dedicated designers for more complex UI
• Take full ownership over features and projects, from ideation to release.

Your profile

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on modern frontend technologies (React, Vue)
• Experience with TypeScript and backend development (e.g., Python, Node.js or similar)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data-driven applications & databases (e.g., PostgresSQL)
• A quality mindset with the ability to ship well-tested & extensible code
• Experience in building complex full-stack applications
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team-player who can work autonomously
• An eye for design and good UX
• Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, Three.js, TanStack
• This is a hybrid role based in Belgium, with regular in-person presence expected at our Leuven HQ.
