Hotel Amigo in Brussels seeks a proactive technician to support the day-to-day operations of the technical department, performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, mechanical, and sanitary installations.

You will coordinate with managers and cross-functional teams, diagnose issues, and ensure discreet, timely service to guests while upholding high standards of safety and reliability. Perks include discounted rates across our hotels and development opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, mechanical, and sanitary installations.
• Carry out maintenance activities including greasing, cleaning, painting and replacing parts.
• Resolve breakdowns or defects, or call external technical service when necessary.
• Discuss required repair or replacement work with the relevant managers.
• Cooperate with colleagues in own team and across departments.

A former prison, it became a hotel in 1957, just in time to host royals, celebrities and VIPs for the Brussels World's Fair. As a technician you will play a key role in the day-to-day activities of the technical department.

Your key responsibilities

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, mechanical, and sanitary installations.
• Carry out maintenance activities, including greasing, cleaning or replacing spare parts, painting, carpentry, etc
• Resolve breakdowns or defects, or call upon the external technical service when necessary
• Discuss the required repair or replacement work with the relevant managers
• Cooperate well with colleagues in own team and across departments
• Provide discreet, professional, and timely service, consistently going the extra mile to meet operational needs
