Hotel Amigo, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Brussels, is seeking a Banqueting Supervisor to lead banquet and event service, ensuring five-star standards across all areas. You will supervise setup, staff, and service, coordinating with departments to deliver discreet, tailored experiences for our guests.

Our hotel Hotel Amigo is set among the cobbled streets of Brussels, just around the corner from the picturesque Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in the world. A former prison, it became a hotel in 1957, just in time to host royals, celebrities and VIPs for the Brussels World's Fair. Hotel Amigo is seeking a Banqueting Supervisor.

Your Key Responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate banquets, receptions and other events.
• Assign tasks and gives instructions regarding service, menu, beverages, etc.
• Supervise the setup of the room, tables and service equipment.
• Check orderliness and cleanliness in the room and the presentation of staff.
• Oversee the team's workflow, ensuring good cooperating across departments
• Support team members to ensure that five-star service standards are maintained at all times
• Deliver discreet, understated, tailored and timely service whilst sharing your knowledge and best practice with the team
• Remain focused on delivering excellence and seeking feedback from guests
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel and our products and actively seek opportunities to promote them
• Monitor stock of beverages and meals
