Eval Europe N.V. is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to bridge our technical centre, R&D and commercial teams with leading customers across EMEA, ensuring EVOH products run smoothly on extrusion machines.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, deliver cutting-edge solutions, and contribute to innovations in EVOH applications while documenting results to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Science; extrusion/plastic processing expertise.
• Practical experience with extrusion machinery and polymers.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.

Responsabilités

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be the essential link between our technical centre, the R&D, technical and commercial teams, and leading customers across EMEA. Your work ensures that our high-performance EVOH products are running flawlessly on extrusion machines, creating solutions that drive innovation, recyclability and sustainability in industries like food packaging, underfloor heating pipe, automotive and beyond.

Your role as a Technical Service Engineer

In this position, you will build bridges between technical excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with customers and our internal teams, you will deliver cutting-edge solutions while maintaining strong partnerships.

Your responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical matters at our customers, in close collaboration with the account managers.
• Materializing the excellent profile of EVAL EVOH as recyclable and sustainable product.
• Advising on new EVAL EVOH applications and sharing technical specifications and product innovations within our global R&D community.
• Preparing technical documentation for EVAL EVOH product introduction and usage
• Partnering with our technical laboratory to conduct small-scale extrusion tests.
• Conducting hands-on testing at machine manufacturers and end-user sites to optimize product applications.
• Reporting and documenting test results and insights to support continuous improvement.
• Experimenting with new ideas and technologies to enhance our products and processes.
• Driving the development of innovative EVOH solutions for industries such as food packaging, underfloor heating pipe, automotive and others.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled professional with a passion for extrusion and plastic processing. Are you a hands-on problem solver with a drive for innovation? Then this is your opportunity to shine!

• A university degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent experience), with (substantial) expertise in extrusion and plastic processing and/or recycling.
• Practical experience with extrusion machinery and technical polymers.
• Willingness to travel (extensively) within Europe, and occasionally beyond, to collaborate with partners.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch/French/German is a strong advantage.
• A self-starter, hands-on attitude and enthusiasm for conducting experiments and tests.
• Motivated for regular presence at our technical laboratory.
• Team player who is also capable of taking the lead because of your expertise.
