E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV seeks a senior project leader to deliver large-scale on-site energy generation projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will oversee planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up, ensuring seamless handover to Operations & Maintenance.

You will act as the primary technical interface among clients, contractors and internal stakeholders in DBOO projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage schedules, budgets and risks while

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Senior-level experience in technical project management within energy/power generation or industrial infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale energy projects with EPC/multi-lot execution.
• PM certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
• Experience with permitting in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage successful delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects (planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up).
• Act as the primary technical project interface between clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders in DBOO projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement and legal functions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements and HSE policies.
• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables and contractor documentation through handover to Operations & Maintenance.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through to handover to the team Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Senior-level experience in technical project management within the energy, power generation, or industrial infrastructure sector
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale energy generation projects with strong knowledge in EPC and/or multi-lot project execution
• Project Management certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Experience with permitting processes in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English (C1); additional language skills are a plus
• Willingness to travel with on-site presence depending on project phase
