ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a Project Engineer to act as the bridge between the project manager and the engineering team, ensuring technical development and quality across multidisciplinary design work. You will monitor schedule, scope, and deliverables to keep the project on track.

You will collaborate with design teams, technical experts, and project leaders, guiding detailed studies and reporting progress while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering with specialization in electrical, electrotechnics, electro-mechanical, or energy.
• Fluent in Dutch; very good understanding of French and English.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; analytical problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Engage in projects from feasibility study to closure, liaising among design teams, technical experts, and Project Leaders.

Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you are the key figure between the project manager and the engineering firm, responsible for the technical development of projects within a multidisciplinary team. You ensure the consistency and quality of the design and monitor the functionality of the project. You take proactive measures to ensure that the project is delivered according to the predetermined schedule and scope.

Key Tasks

• Engage actively in projects from the feasibility study phase to closure, liaising among design teams, technical experts, and Project Leaders.
• Contribute to defining the technical aspects and scope of project designs, conducting various technical studies.
• Guide design teams during detailed studies to ensure quality and scope adherence.
• Communicate and report on project progress effectively.

Profile / Requirements

• A master's degree in engineering, with a specialization in electrical, electrotechnics, electro-mechanical, or energy.
• Knowledge of electricity grids will be a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch, with an (very) good understanding of French and English.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Analytical capacity to solve complex technical challenges.
