Milliken & Company in Gent seeks an experienced technical Key Account Manager with a strong background in specialty chemicals and Personal Care. The role focuses on developing strategic account plans, building credibility with technical and commercial stakeholders, and driving growth across Europe.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years in Personal Care/Hair Care or related industries, with deep knowledge of specialty chemicals and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Biochemistry, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Personal Care, Hair Care, Specialty Chemicals or related industries.
• Experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, Application Development, Product Management, Technical Service or Account Management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for home, fabric and personal care customers.
• Build relationships with R&D, Innovation, Product Development, Procurement and Marketing stakeholders.
• Translate technical customer needs into innovative solutions and commercial opportunities.
• Drive growth within existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Support product evaluations, technical discussions and commercialization activities.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, Marketing, Regulatory and Commercial teams.
• Lead customer meetings, business reviews and technical presentations.
• Travel approximately 30-40% throughout Europe for customer visits and industry events.
