The Fluxys group in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw is looking for a Technical Assistant (m/f/x) to support the technical team in managing work orders and technical projects. Your role is crucial for the efficient functioning of our operations.

The Intervention Centre in Sint‑Pieters‑Leeuw is primarily tasked with ensuring the continuity and integrity of the network.
To this end, our teams are available 24 hours a day to carry out all kinds of scheduled and unscheduled work on our transmission facilities, including adjustments and repairs. The Intervention Centre complies with the ISO 9001 quality standard and SCC (VCA) in all its activities: welded structures, mechanical worksite, logistics and warehouse.

Technical Assistant (m/f/x)

Job purpose

As Technical Administrative Assistant, you will support our technical team in processing work orders, managing technical projects and following up on orders.
You will ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and correctly.
Your work is key to the efficient functioning of our technical team.

Your responsibilities

• Managing rolling stock and larger site equipment, including trucks, forklift trucks, cranes, trailers, generators, lighting towers, compressors and site facilities.
• Working closely with the technical coordinator and ensuring smooth planning of interventions, maintenance and repairs.
• Ordering necessary spare parts and following up on deliveries in consultation with suppliers.
• Organising inspections and processing technical data such as hourly readings and meter readings in SAP PM.
• Administrative follow‑up of work orders in SAP PM, guaranteeing correct recording and follow‑up of damage claims via our ETM.nxt platform.
• Preparing commissioning reports and monitoring the administrative aspects of the calibration of measuring equipment.
• Supporting the accounting team to ensure invoicing runs smoothly and stepping in where necessary to support colleagues.

About you

• Good understanding of technical issues and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Experience in working within a technical environment.
• Secondary education diploma in a technical or administrative field and ideally holding a BA5 certificate or willingness to obtain it within a year.
• Enjoys administrative work, working accurately, and knows how to structure a wide range of tasks.
• Comprehensive digital skills with excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP.
• Clear communication, customer‑focused, can work independently and knows when collaboration helps.
• Fluency in Dutch; fluency in French or English is a plus.
• Willing to take part in an on‑call system and lives within 60 kilometres of the intervention centre.
