The Fluxys group in Belgium is looking for an OT Central Engineer (m/f/x) to ensure the maintenance and evolution of SCADA and Operational Technology systems. You will be responsible for system performance, cybersecurity, and technological innovation.

The ICT department plays a key role in the operation and development of Fluxys’ infrastructure. The real‑time SCADA environment is a strategic asset ensuring the safe and efficient control of the high‑pressure gas transmission network. For our Realtime department in Anderlecht, we are looking for an OT Central Engineer (m/f/x).

Job purpose

You ensure the availability, maintenance and evolution of Fluxys’ SCADA and Operational Technology systems. You contribute to system performance, cybersecurity and technological innovation.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SCADA and OT systems throughout their lifecycle
• Provide technical support and implement system changes
• Investigate and resolve incidents and problems
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners
• Participate in strategic Operational Technology projects
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance, resilience and drive continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Automation, Industrial Electronics or equivalent
• Experience in SCADA and/or Operational Technology environments
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, SQL and Oracle
• Assets: RTU/PLC, OPC, Modbus, CIP, ICCP/TASE2, scripting and Historian systems
• Understanding of industrial networks, communication protocols and cybersecurity
• Strong analytical, organisational skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in French or Dutch and proficient in English
