The Fluxys group in Antwerp is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain and ensure safe operations of natural gas transmission. The role includes inspection and maintenance of pressure reduction stations and requires an A2 diploma in electromechanics or electronics.

The Grid department manages the transmission network of Fluxys Belgium. The department’s objectives are to ensure the supply of natural gas to end users and to guarantee the safety of installations, the environment, and employees. This includes the inspection, operation, and maintenance of the pipeline network and related installations, such as valve nodes and pressure reduction stations.
From an organizational perspective, the Grid department is geographically divided into five zones, supported by a central entity that provides both technical and administrative assistance.
For our operations site in Merksem, we are looking for an Electromechanical Technician (m/f/x).
As an Electromechanical Technician, you contribute to the safe and reliable operation of Fluxys Belgium’s natural gas transmission network. You help ensure the maintenance and optimal functioning of the pressure reduction stations within the Merksem zone, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuity of gas supply. You play a key role in safeguarding the energy supply and thus support the transition to a carbon-neutral future
