Stellantis e-Transmissions in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, seeks a Design and Release Engineer to advance embedded systems in eDCT. You will work autonomously across mechanical, software, electrical, and validation teams, coordinating with suppliers and global counterparts to release components and drive DFMEA and APQP processes.

You will develop requirements, perform CAN analyses, and support field returns, with a focus on AGILE workflows and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic automotive

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics.
• 4–5 years of experience in design or related roles in automotive or power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with electronic systems and power electronics.
• EMC background in school.
• Strong MS Office skills and technical notes writing.

Responsabilités

• Validate Integration of Controller in Transmission Control System (lab activities).
• Support serial life and continuous improvement for embedded systems.
• Develop component requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain DFMEA.
• Own APQP grid towards suppliers.
• Coordinate module integration into Stellantis eDCT and vehicle systems with suppliers.
• Release components via Change Management System (CNs) with Global counterparts.
• Coordinate and contribute to structured issue analysis (Field returns/warranty; Plant or 0-km failures).
• Perform CAN trace analysis and evaluate performance indicators.
• Coordinate system requirements and traceability (Polarion).
• Engage in 8D/Six Sigma problem-solving workshops.
