Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Java software engineering and system/application architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems and design patterns.
• Experience defining architectural principles, integration guidelines, and technical standards.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, GitHub, version control, and automation.
• Experience with cloud environments and container platforms (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Ability to provide hands-on technical support and guide development teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.

We are looking for an experienced System Architect to define and drive technology strategy, architectural standards, and engineering excellence across multiple development squads. This role combines strategic architecture with hands‑on technical leadership, focusing on Java-based applications, cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.

• Senior‑level experience in Java software engineering and System/Application Architecture.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of Spring Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and software design patterns.
• Experience defining architectural principles, integration guidelines, and technical standards across multiple development teams.
• Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, version control, and engineering automation.
• Experience with cloud environments and container platforms, such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Understanding of secure, scalable, and maintainable application design.
• Ability to provide hands‑on technical support, resolve complex engineering challenges, and guide development teams.
• Strong communication, technical leadership, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Good command of English.

Java 8‑21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, Node.js, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle, PostgreSQL, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit, Mockito, Sonar, Dynatrace, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure, and test automation.

• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of TM Forum (TMF) standards, OSS/BSS, or telecom architecture.
• Exposure to Agentic AI, Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI Codex, NIS2, or post‑quantum cryptography (PQC).
• Experience with observability, modernization initiatives, and technology proof of concepts (PoCs).
• Familiarity with Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and pair programming.
• Define and manage the technology roadmap across Java, Angular, cloud platforms, and engineering tooling.
• Drive DevOps standardization, CI/CD improvements, test automation, monitoring, and observability.
• Guide modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Balance high‑level architecture with hands‑on engineering support.
