Description du poste

We currently have a vacancy for an Java Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Production of software architecture documents;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 6 years of experience with Java;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with each of the following technologies: Spring Boot, JPA (or Hibernate), SQL;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Container Application Development (Kubernetes or Docker);
• Minimum 3 years of experience with REST web services;
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Angular (version 2 or later);
• Minimum 1 year of experience with DevOps / Continuous Deployment (e.g. Jenkins);
• Minimum 1 year of experience with event streaming platform (e.g. Kafka);
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Good knowledge of Business Process Analysis;
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
• Excellent command of the English language.
