Bleckmann in Belgium is seeking a Supervisor to lead the team on either the early or late shift. You will manage Team Leaders and warehouse staff, drive department objectives, and propose improvements based on customer satisfaction data.

You will analyze results, optimize productivity, shorten lead times, and coach colleagues in a continuous improvement environment. The role reports to the Operation Manager and requires Dutch and English proficiency, a strong leadership track, and flexibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level education required.
• Strong leadership and experience managing large teams.
• Solid knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse operations.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse management systems.

As a Supervisor you are responsible for either the early shift or the late shift. You will manage the Team Leader(s) and Warehouse employeeswhich you are responsible for.
It is your job to achieve all department objectives. You do this, among other things, by focusing on productivity, customer satisfaction, analyzing department results and making improvement proposals based on customer satisfaction research.

• Achieve departmental objectives;
• Analyze departmental results;
• Improve productivity and efficiency;
• Make improvement proposals to improve services and increase customer satisfaction;
• Minimizing errors and shortening lead times;
• Conducting consultations within and outside the department;
• Point of contact for both the internal organization and suppliers related to the department;
• Leading, coaching, training and motivating the Teamleaders;
• Coach and motivate the team and train new employees;
• Working in a continuous process improvement environment within our network organization;
• Reports to the Operation Manager.

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master working and thinking level;
• Demonstrable experience in managing large groups;
• Good knowledge of logistics processes;
• Good knowledge of warehouse management systems;
• Good communication skills and positive attitude;
• Strong leadership skills and able to motivate a team;
• Decisive, problem solving skills;
• Analytical skills;
• Excellent knowledge and command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Flexible and stress-resistant and able to work overtime in (and if necessary out of) season;
• You will lead in a dynamic day schedule from Monday to Friday (5:48 - 13:48 or 14:00–22:00); working with your team to make a difference every day.
