GEA is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to safeguard two Belgian sites, driving supplier audits, NCRs and CAPA actions. You’ll define requirements with Procurement/Engineering, monitor KPIs and develop suppliers through structured improvement plans.

You will collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, Assembly and Commissioning, and occasionally travel to supplier sites. A technical degree and 3–5 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field.
• Typically 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality or quality engineering.
• Practical experience with supplier audits, non-conformity management and corrective action follow-up.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans and root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are an advantage.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications, tolerances and inspection documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional English required; Dutch strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Qualify and approve suppliers through capability reviews, risk assessments and documented audits.
• Plan and conduct supplier process and quality-system audits, including follow-up of findings.
• Lead supplier NCRs, containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why and CAPA methods.
• Define supplier quality requirements with Procurement and Engineering, including inspection criteria, control plans and first article expectations.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs, recurring failure modes and quality-related delivery impact.
• Develop suppliers through coaching, performance reviews and structured improvement plans.
• Support risk-based incoming inspection and ensure lessons learned are built into standards and supplier selection.
• Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, Assembly and Commissioning at both sites.
