Atlas Copco is seeking a Purchaser in Belgium to manage supplier performance for selected commodities and develop a solid purchasing strategy aligned with divisional targets. You will initiate price requests, evaluate suppliers, and drive savings while coordinating with Engineering, Marketing, SQA, and Logistics teams.

The role combines supplier negotiations, market research, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work setting at our Wilrijk office.

Formación

• Higher education degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation mindset.
• Professional English communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of SQL/BI is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage suppliers for defined commodity set and optimize the supply chain.
• Lead price requests, supplier evaluations, and negotiations on commercial, technical and logistical aspects.
• Identify savings and availability opportunities through market research and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering on roadmaps; coordinate with SQA, Logistics and Production teams.
